MBX 140 9mm MAGAZINES FOR Beretta

The “NEW” MBX Beretta magazines have been developed for Competition. We wanted to provide a one piece America Stainless 410 heat treated tube for Ultimate Performance, Durability and Reliability. Our feed lips are a formed with thicker material and precision cut for Flawless Feeding.

What’s the difference?

Part of the new design was to increase the bullet angle upward. Keeping the nose of the bullet pointed more directly to the chamber aids with the Berettas non drop barrel design this also helps to add a little extra clearance under the rear of the ejector to produce extremely smooth bullet feeding.

We also engineered other important changes:

1. The magazines side indents that reduce the rounds to one column have two stage reducing angles this assures the bullets can accelerate faster into the feed lips while keeping a strong nose pressure and thus present the rounds level, fast, and clean into the feed lips allowing no nose dip or delay.

2. Another performance feature was advancing the round to released sooner from the new MBX. This allows the round more time along with a reduced angle as compared with a factory magazines, so now the round can start it’s upward motion sooner going up the breach face under the extractor all while reducing the bullets rear climb angle and allowing for smooth slide closing, the ability to run light loads, and lighter recoil springs. Reducing this angle can also aid in closing the slide fully even with extra power extractor springs.

3. The follower is designed to sit low. Remember the last round only has to be presented in order to feed correctly. The competition follower is designed to sit low in the magazine after the last round has been chambered. Stoping the follower low is deliberate because upon the last shot the slide will cycle shut. The conventional follower engages the slide stop so we need to prevent
